Dear brothers and sisters,

In times such as these it behooves us to choose life in everything we do.Why not start with the food we eat? After all its so much within our compass. Why not begin exemplifying aliveness by juicing kale, celery and cucumbers. Why not?! The juice reverberates with vitality - it is so alive.

On sale this week is our California Family Olive Oil. Our pleasure to offer it at a $4 discount. It is made by a wonderful California farming family -the Polits. They not only grow the olives but render them into olive oil on their ranch in the heart of the great Central Valley.

Then David the Good guides us in an excursion into backyard regenerative agriculture. Instead of bringing a barren stretch of soil back to life with compost and manure he plants a mixture of hay and other greens that will fix nitrogen from the atmosphere. Where the plants mature he with allow his cows to graze there, their manure will impart vitality and the barren land will breathe life.

Our  Victory Garden Sale, this month, includes Zinc Cantata, Selenium Sonata. A combination of alive, organic nuts and seeds, high in zinc and selenium. With the Sierra Nevada mountains to the west,the Coastal Range to the east encompassing the fertile Central Valley replete with orchids and vineyards,  California is a place of immense natural beauty. It is both sad and tragic that this great land is beset with profound  societal problems. Victor Davis Hansen delineates its downward spiral.We have no doubt, however, that good sense and sensibility at the grassroots with eventually prevail. In place of fear, loneliness and estrangement there will yet be conviviality, brotherhood and joy.
